Lookboards

Terms of service

Draft dated 31 October 2026. Lookboards is operated by Patrick Campbell, based in Australia. Contact pat@ptcampbell.me for service questions.

The service

Lookboards lets authorized Shopify merchants upload images, add product or link hotspots, arrange boards and show published galleries through a theme app block. A compatible Shopify Online Store theme is required. There is no separate Lookboards account.

Your content

You retain your rights in the images and text you provide. You must have permission to upload, publish and link to that content, including permission from people depicted where required. You authorize the processing and display of your content needed to provide the galleries you choose to create and publish.

Uploads and their source images are public Shopify Files, even for draft boards. Do not upload confidential information. Removing content from Lookboards or uninstalling does not remove those files from Shopify. You manage them in Shopify → Content → Files.

Using Lookboards

Use the service lawfully and only for stores you are authorized to manage. Do not upload unlawful or infringing content, use deceptive or harmful links, attempt to access another merchant’s data, or interfere with the service.

You are responsible for checking image rights, product information, prices and links before publishing and as your catalog changes. Product titles and price labels are saved snapshots, not live catalog or inventory updates. Lookboards does not automatically create store pages or promise any particular sales result.

Pricing and changes

Lookboards is currently free to install and use. Your Shopify subscription and other services are separate. Any future paid offering would require its own disclosed pricing and authorization; using this free release does not authorize future charges.

The service may change or be interrupted for maintenance, platform changes or faults. Contact support if a change affects your galleries. Keep your own copies of your original content. These terms do not promise uninterrupted availability or a specific backup or recovery period.

Stopping use and removing content

You can unpublish boards, delete boards or looks, or uninstall through Shopify. Uninstalling disables app-managed gallery delivery and removes sessions. Shopify Files remain in your store. The privacy policy explains shop erasure, app-owned media cleanup and retained records.

Access or content may be restricted where needed to address misuse, unlawful content or a security issue. Contact us if you believe content has been removed in error.

Your rights and support

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees. No exclusive court, liability cap or additional waiver is established by this draft.
